A portrait of football legend Diego Armando Maradona is painted on a lorry taking part in a blockade of the roads near the port of Naples during a protest against the increase in fuel costs, on October 22, 2026. The protest by truck drivers, who are demonstrating against rising fuel costs, began on 16 October in the southern regions of Italy and is bringing the country to a standstill, disrupting fuel supplies to petrol stations and food supplies to supermarkets.
