(FILES) A handout photo released by the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism shows an aerial view of Fontenova stadium in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil, taken on September 11, 2013. The game ends and the stands empty out, but a group of female fans remains in their seats. "Today, staying at the stadium is safer than going home," read messages projected at the home stadium of Bahia, a team in Brazil's first division. The initiative was organized by the club, its female fans, and the UN in response to a report detailing an increase in reports of violence against women on football match days.
