For a long time, summer was the season of fine weather, the one people waited for impatiently but this year, it often turned into a climate nightmare with deserted terraces, shutters closed in broad daylight, landscapes turned into arid expanses or raging infernos, and that exhausting heat that seemed never to end, making the summer of 2026, the one when climate change forced itself, brutally, into Europeans' daily lives.
